We’re getting behind Public Health England’s campaign, Active 10, to help you take control of your fitness and improve your health by adding 10 minutes of brisk walking to your daily routine.

With less than one in three 55-64 year olds living in Essex classed as active, Active 10 aims to gradually build people up to thirty minutes brisk walking a day over a five week period.

To help you achieve your Active 10’s, we will be sharing ideas on how you can get active, both in the community and in the workplace.

Whether you are taking a stroll along the beautiful woodlands and beaches in Essex, trying a new walking route to work, or taking part in an organised walk – there are plenty of ways for you to achieve your Active 10!
