Activity Alliance is the new name for the English Federation of Disability Sport. The national charity brings members, partners and disabled people together to make active lives possible. Collectively, we continue to challenge perceptions and change the reality of disability, inclusion and sport.
Activity Alliance works towards a better future where disabled people and those with long-term health conditions can be and stay active for life. Engagement Advisors support key strategic partners, including County Sports Partnerships (CSPs), National Governing Bodies of sport (NGBs) and leisure providers. These Advisors enable organisations to engage effectively more disabled people in sport and active recreation.
You will have an in-depth knowledge of the sport and leisure sectors, their structures and how they operate. You are an advocate for improvement, so disabled people can access more products and services. You will also have a knowledge of non-sport sectors, including Disabled People’s Organisations. You have experience in building relationships and partnerships that connect activity and non-sport sectors together.
Salary £26,000 – £30,000
The successful candidate will be based in the East or the South East regions and will also have the option for remote/home working.
We offer 26 days (pro rata) holiday plus bank holidays, pension contribution, childcare vouchers and cycle to work scheme.
