The exciting variety of this new interesting role which will lead engagement activities with the local community, will be a shared responsibility between the Colchester Community-Led Street Design Project and a range of other potential projects designed for the promotion of walking and cycling across a range of settings, likely to include schools, workplaces and communities.
With a good standard of education, you will have experience of delivering a practical project with community engagement as a core element, involving local people using creative and eye-catching methods.
You will also have experience of leading group workshops and organising and running events.
You will have excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills, the ability to delivery engagement activities and promotional events and to motivate and enthuse others. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise and manage your own workload.
You will also be IT literate and committed to the promotion of sustainable transport. Clearance by a DBS Disclosure check is mandatory for this role.
