Tania is an Early Years Specialist and Author, Baby Massage Instructor and Yoga Teacher and is excited that her Mum and Baby Yoga sessions will be part of the Keep Essex Active initiative.

Whether you are new to yoga or old-hat this is the session for you if you are a new mum. Benefits for you and your baby:

  • general and core strength
  • flexibility and general health
  • positive body and mind image
  • bonding time with your baby
  • relaxation

*Your baby should be 6 weeks or older (preferably having had their 6-week check-up) and not yet crawling (as you will be doing more chasing than yoga!)

She published a book in 2017 – “Learning through Movement and Active Play” with Jessica Kingsley Publishers which is aimed at those who work with children age 3 to 7 years, however parents and carers have found it of use when bringing up their children.

Alongside training over 1800 teachers and early years practitioners she has developed resources, including the Award-winning Mini Moves, Mini Yo! and Fantastic Elastic and has recently launch the Inspired to Move Online Training Platform and Resources Subscription site allowing her training and resources to become more accessible.
