Find Your Active Maldon is a multi-agency network made up of representatives from local organisations within the statutory, voluntary and private sectors. We are one of 14 Active Networks set up across Essex, Southend & Thurrock to lead, develop and co-ordinate sport and physical activity in conjunction with Active Essex. We work closely with local sport and leisure provision as well as VSCE organisations to promote physical activity, health & wellbeing.

Active Maldon runs a small grants fund which welcomes applications on a rolling basis, the fund is reviewed annually.

The fund is there to support physical activity interventions across the Maldon District, so if you or your organisation is looking to deliver a project that will benefit residents or groups and have a positive impact on the health, fitness and wellbeing of the community we would like to hear from you.

All applications will be considered regardless of how much funding the project needs, but as guidance most projects receive in the region of £1000. A clear breakdown of what funding you require will be needed.

Please read guidance notes and criteria before completing the application form. If you need any assistance please contact Ben Thornett, the Community Health and Wellbeing Officer; Ben.Thornett@maldon.gov.uk .
