Essex United by Sport will celebrate all of those moments. It is a shared commitment to helping more people across Essex experience the positive impact that sport and physical activity can have on everyone’s lives.
Powered by Essex County Council and delivered in partnership with Active Essex and organisations across the county, Essex United by Sport aims to celebrate everything that makes Essex a great sporting county, while ensuring everyone has the opportunity to experience the benefits of being active.
Why does it matter?
Essex is home to numerous inspiring athletes, successful sports clubs and world-class venues. But the impact of sport reaches far beyond the playing field. By working together, we can maximise the many benefits it brings, to create a healthier, more active and better-connected Essex.
