The successful candidates must hold a nationally recognised qualification for instruction
i.e. ASA/Swim England Level 2, Baby Preschool Swimming Teaching (or equivalent STA Baby Preschool/Award/Certificate)

Hours available Monday – Fridays from 3:45pm onwards, and weekends from 8

The post holder will play a key part in keeping our swimmers safe, supporting the smooth running of the Centre, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment throughout the pools complex. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to our community while working as part of a supportive team. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential for this role.

As Assistant Manager – Group Operations at Clacton Leisure Centre, you’ll play a key role in our day-to-day running while helping us to develop our long-term plans. You’ll need to hold key qualifications including NPLQ, Pool Plant, IOSH, Level 2/3 Leadership or Management or be willing to complete the required qualifications. South Woodham Ferrers is currently seeking qualified Assistant Swimming Instructors who are passionate about teaching and inspiring both children and adults. The successful applicant will support our swimming instructors in delivering our year round swimming lesson programme. This vacancy is offered on a casual basis, including weekends and evenings so flexibility is a must.

Successful applicants will join our existing team of instructors, supporting the delivery of our year round swimming lesson programme and ensuring continuous learning, development, and progression for all participants to work Saturdays 8am – 12.15pm.

Demonstrating excellent communication skills and with some managerial experience, you’ll organise and oversee the running of our bustling amenities, while motivating our teams to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
