Dovedale Leisure Centre is undergoing a refurbishment and we’re looking for a team of Leisure Assistants for reopening. Some key responsibilities include assisting customers, managing bookings, handling membership sales, setting and putting away equipment. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in sport, excellent communication skills, and be flexible to work daytime, evenings, and weekends.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Gymnastic Coaches to lead the delivery of our gymnastic courses. Applicants should be experienced in coaching children and be strong confident communicators with excellent customer care skills. Applicants should possess a Level 2 Gymnastic coaching qualification and can adapt their delivery to suit various skills and abilities.

Riverside Leisure Centre is our flagship facility, we are currently seeking a motivated and personable individual to join our gym team.
The successful applicant must hold a Level 3 qualification in Personal Training, show excellent communication and customer care skills, and bring a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism to your work. This is a part time position, of 14.75 hours per week.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to work as part of a team within the pools complex. The applicant must be a confident communicator, have excellent customer care skills and hold the National Pool Lifeguard qualification. You will be responsible for the health and safety of users of our swimming pools as well as other areas of the Centre whilst also ensuring hygiene and cleanliness.

Riverside Leisure Centre is Chelmsford City Council’s flagship leisure facility, we’re currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified Assistant Swimming Instructors who are passionate about teaching and inspiring both children and adults. This vacancy is for 1.5 hours on a Sunday 7.30am – 9am. Additional hours maybe available throughout the swimming lesson programme.
