Are you passionate about teaching others how to swim? Impulse Leisure are looking for Swimming Instructors!

The successful candidates must hold a nationally recognised qualification for instruction
i.e. ASA/Swim England Level 2, Baby Preschool Swimming Teaching (or equivalent STA Baby Preschool/Award/Certificate)

Hours available Monday – Fridays from 3:45pm onwards, and weekends from 8

Impulse Leisure are currently seeking motivated Leisure Attendants (Lifeguards) to join our team, to undertake a range of duties in the wet and dry areas of our centres, overseeing the general safety and behavior of the public to prevent injury, misuse and damage to our facilities.

Full time and part time hours available.

We are looking for Aqua Aerobics Instructors, as well as Instructors qualified in a range of disciplines, to help develop our class timetable. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, be confident and self-motivated. It is essential to hold a relevant class qualification.

South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre are looking for friendly and approachable individuals to join our management team. The successful applicant must be adaptable, enjoy working with the public and ideally have a sound knowledge of sport. We are looking for casual duty managers to cover the opening hours of the centre, which are 6:00 – 22:00 weekdays, 7:00 – 20:00 at weekends.

South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre are looking for committed individuals to join our vibrant team in the pools complex. If you’re a confident communicator with excellent people skills and hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, we’d love to hear from you. This position is on a part-time basis, at 12 hours per week, 17:30-22:30 on a Wednesday and a 14:30-20:30 on a Sunday.

Learning to swim is more than a sport, it’s a life skill, and one we want our local community to access in a safe, effective, and fun way. To help us achieve that we need a fully Level 2 qualified Swim Teacher who can deliver lessons in a positive, inclusive, and engaging way. Hours can be split if needed, so please specify in your application whether you would like to work both days or just one.

We are looking for qualified Swimming Instructors with excellent teaching skills and a passion for working with both adults and children to join us at South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre. Successful applicants will join our existing team of instructors supporting the delivery of our year round swimming lesson programme and ensuring continuous learning and development.
