We have an exciting opportunity to join Tendring District Council’s Sport and Leisure team as the Marketing and Communications Officer. This new role is a key part of the service’s desire to increase activity levels, further develop and bring to life the Council’s leisure centres and to place engaging storytelling at the heart of what we do.

Tendring District Council is looking for two motivated and enthusiastic individuals to deliver the Council’s community based active wellbeing programme. As an Active Wellbeing Activator, you will be the face of the service, supporting healthy and happy communities through physical activity programmes as part of the Sport and Leisure Service.

We are looking for a full-time Communications Officer to work at Castle Point Borough Council in the Policy, Performance & Customer team. This exciting role will lead the marketing and communications activity for the Find Your Active – Canvey Island Place Partnership, helping to drive initiatives that encourage residents to be more physically active.

This role will involve delivering impactful, data-led campaigns that drive memberships, activity and course bookings, as well as participation across our leisure centres. A key part of the role is creating, managing and optimising paid digital advertising campaigns across social media, email, website and our app to maximise reach, engagement, conversions and return on investment.

Chelmsford City Council is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead the strategic marketing activity focused on health, wellbeing, fitness and sport across our four leisure centres. If you have a strong track record in driving results in a fast paced and competitive local environment, this role could be for you.
