We are expanding our youth provision into West Thurrock, and we’re looking for an experienced, energetic Senior Youth Worker with a Sports background to help us put sport at the heart of what we do. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves working with young people, thrives in active environments, and can confidently lead day‑to‑day delivery across multiple sites.

The successful candidates must hold a nationally recognised qualification for instruction
i.e. ASA/Swim England Level 2, Baby Preschool Swimming Teaching (or equivalent STA Baby Preschool/Award/Certificate)

Hours available Monday – Fridays from 3:45pm onwards, and weekends from 8

Riverside Leisure Centre are currently seeking enthusiastic and qualified Assistant Swimming Instructors who are passionate about teaching and inspiring both children and adults. The successful applicant will support our swimming instructors in delivering our year-round swimming lesson programme. This vacancy is for 4 hours, Tuesday and Thursday 4 – 6pm.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our swimmers safe, supporting the smooth running of the Centre, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment throughout the pools complex. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to our community while working as part of a supportive, enthusiastic team.

South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre are looking for committed, customer‑focused individuals to join our vibrant team in the pools complex. If you’re a confident communicator with excellent people skills and hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, we’d love to hear from you. The centre operates from 6.00am to 10.30pm, including weekends and bank holidays, so flexibility is a must.
