South Woodham Ferrers is one Chelmsford City Council’s are looking for a Senior Lifeguard to join their pools team. The applicant must be a confident communicator and hold the National Pool Lifeguard qualification. This is a full-time position, working 37 hours as part of a roster pattern. Shifts will cover the centres opening hours of 6.00am to 10.00pm, including weekends and bank holidays.

Dovedale Leisure Centre are looking for individuals who are passionate about fitness and love working with others. It is essential to hold a Level 3 gym instructor qualification. The role involves supporting members through inductions, assessments and personalised fitness programmes as well as leading group classes. This part-time position is available to support the opening hours of the Centre.

The BDA is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and highly organised individual to support the delivery of the County Development Programme (Essex) and the wider Club Offer. Our fundamental aim is to “place bowls at the heart of every community as an accessible sport for all.”

In this role, you will play a crucial part in achieving the BDA’s targets as set out by Sport England.

We are looking for enthusiastic qualified swimming instructors with excellent teaching skills and a passion for working with adults and children. The successful applicants will work alongside our existing team of swimming instructors overseeing the swimming lesson programme which runs throughout the year to ensure continuous learning, development, and progression.

Experience of supporting adults with Mental Health and wellbeing would be desirable. The successful candidate will aid the head coach and other instructors in delivering a range of activities to clients referred to the centre as part of their on-going support with mental health. The role is 6 hours per week, over three afternoons (currently Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
