Hayley – PE

’m Hayley, 32 years young and a PE teacher. I’m a sport enthusiast who enjoys both watching and playing all types of sports.

My favourite sport is athletics and I run for my local running club. I have just got back into netball to, which is good fun and very social.

Sometimes we train so hard we forget to just enjoy it. This is something I have tried to work on personally in the last year, as a runner you are restricted by time and distance, I have tried to leave the watch behind and just go out and enjoy the Essex roads and countryside. I am also trying different activities out which I may have not been brave enough, to before.

I got involved in the This Girl Can Ambassador to enable and inspire other women. I wanted to spread the word to show that This Girl Can!, that’s why the word CAN is so important, because everyone CAN do this.

I’m really passionate about breaking down barriers so everyone can get involved in sport and KEEP ACTIVE, I love running because it’s easy accessible, all you need is a good sports bra 😉 and a pair of trainers.
