Sandra is from Move it or Lose it and she wants to motivate people to keep active in later life. She is great at explaining the activities and walking you through both seated and standing exercises, that can even be done whilst your waiting for the kettle to boil!

Hi I’m Sandra Amey-Martin, a qualified Fitness instructor, PT and “Move it or Lose it” (FABS) instructor and trainer. I specialise in exercise classes for older people, those with limited mobility or anyone who would like to start exercising but doesn’t know where to begin.

All my exercises are low impact and were developed by the Centre for Musculoskeletal Ageing Research at the University of Birmingham. The exercises can be done standing, seated or with chair support.

As a qualified FABS instructor I can support you with a range of conditions including Diabetes, Arthritis, Osteoporosis or other mobility challenges you may have.
