Hi, I’m Sarah, your Find Your Active Place Navigator for Clacton, Jaywick and Walton.

I am not your typical fitness fanatic, my main sport is darts, but I do enjoy exercise when
it doesn’t feel like exercise.

I am a qualified chair aerobics instructor; a mental health support and recovery worker
and I currently run a Party Dance Club. I enjoy walking, cycling and learning new things.

I aim to inspire everyone I meet to be the best version of themselves, and I understand that
starting a new activity can be daunting and you may not know whats available, so hopefully,
that’s where I can help.

Any form of exercise significantly benefits our mental health by boosting mood,
reducing stress and anxiety, and improving sleep and self-esteem. Exercise can also
help manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Any activity, no matter how small, is some form of exercise. That’s where we get
started. I can help you find the perfect group or club that suits you.
I believe in setting achievable goals and realistic targets.
