Fusion Lifestyle and Active Sports are pleased to launch the new Get Active Plus project that will offer 10 weeks of free physical activity at a range of sites in the District.

Funded by the Active Rochford Network, the sessions will build on the success of the Friday Night project at Clements Hall and will ensure that throughout July, August and September there are daily sessions running at different locations around Rochford District.

The sessions will be delivered by the team at Active Sports and will be free for young people aged 13 years old and over. Full details of each of the sessions are below:

Monday // 5pm – 6pm // Ashingdon Park, Moons Close, Rochford (meet by the adventure playground)

Tuesday // 5pm – 6pm // Rochford Recreation Ground, Doggetts Close, Rochford (meet by the adventure playground)

Wednesday // 4.45pm – 5.45pm // Rayleigh Leisure Centre

Thursday // 5pm – 6pm // King George V Playing Field, Eastwood Rod, Rayleigh (meet by the adventure playground)

Friday // 5pm – 6pm // Clements Hall Leisure Centre Friday Night Project

All of the sessions will be outside so young people are advised to dress for the weather and to bring plenty of fluids with them.

In addition to this we will be extended the existing school holiday Get Active Project at Clements Hall to daily sessions from Monday 27 July – Friday 26 August from 4pm – 6pm (Monday to Friday). More information will follow on this in due course.

For more information and to guarantee a place at any of these sessions, visit Active Sports on Facebook or via their website (bookings will be live from Tuesday 29 June)
