WALK, TALK & CONNECT WITH NATURE
Muddy Walkers is an informal walking group based in Stansted Mountfitchet.
Everyone is welcome to join. You can come with friends or family or alone. We follow a different route each week, which can include some of the many paths and public alleys around the village, permissive paths through the fields and farms and the two nature reserves close by. We tend to walk in twos and threes so there is always someone to chat with. Many of our walkers have made new friends through the group. We also meet from time to time for social events which are completely optional.
The group facilitators are volunteers from Let’s Talk, Stansted! with mental health and emergency first aid training.
MEETING TIME: Currently 7:30PM every Thursday (March-October) and occasional evenings from November to February.
MEETING POINT: Outside the Coop off Lower Street, next to the car park.
REGISTRATION: There is no need to register in advance but we recommend you give us a call to check that we’re meeting on the week you wish to come along. Anyone can turn up and register before you start walking. Registration of basic details is necessary for insurance purposes, but we treat all information in the strictest confidence. YOU WILL ONLY NEED TO REGISTER ONCE.
We look forward to seeing you there!
