The team at Essex ActivAte are looking to improve the process of making the booking of a club for parents and guardians of children with SEND as helpful as possible. With this in mind, we have identified all of our SEND specific clubs with a key to the level of care they are able to support the children who are attending.
Please check the 4 club levels below for the most suitable support for the child you are wishing to book onto the programme.
Each area will list SEND clubs if they’re being delivered, as well as the level of SEND they support.
Level 1 – SEND
This club will be suitable for children who have mild to moderate needs, who are able to go to the toilet and eat their lunch with correct supervision, but do not need direct support in doing so. This level is suitable for children who do not present risky behaviours such as being of harm to themselves or to others.
Please let your booking provider know any relevant information that may help your child enjoy this club as much as possible.
Level 2 – SEND
This club will be suitable for children who have mild to moderate needs, and those who will need direct support with personal care, and will need one to one support with eating their lunch.
