National Fitness Day is a celebration of physical activity, inspiring people of all ages and abilities to get moving. From school playgrounds to community centres, workplaces and leisure facilities, it’s a day to unite through movement and highlight how fitness supports our physical and mental wellbeing.

This year, we’re excited to launch two fun and inclusive challenges designed to get everyone involved. These challenges support the core aims of National Fitness Day by encouraging participation, celebrating movement in all its forms, and promoting long-term healthy habits.

Stay tuned to find out more, but here’s a taster of what’s to come.

Primary School Challenge

Can you find all of the items listed on our nature checklist? From leaves to acorns, flowers to pebbles, explore your school grounds or local nature area and see how many you can spot. It’s a fun way to get outside, get active, and connect with the world around you.

Secondary School Challenge

Head outside and take on the challenge of performing a variety of inclusive team yoga poses together.

A creative and active way for secondary students to build teamwork, boost wellbeing, and ensure everyone can take part, no matter their ability.
