Clubbercise

First and foremost I’m a mum to 3 little pickles as I call them, 2 of which are on the Autistic Spectrum so they keep me on my toes.  After having my 3 I put on a lot of weight, I was just over 17 stone and wanted to find ME again. I lost 5 stone and found a love for fitness, I got involved in running a FitCamp which I really enjoyed but I wanted more and most importantly I wanted to be qualified but had no idea really what I wanted to do.

I became a qualified Fitness Instructor, passed my Exercise To Music Level 2 and then booked myself onto the next Clubbercise Course and qualified in August 2016 and have never looked back. I absolutely love teaching Clubbercise or as I call it my happy hour whereby for one hour, you forget your troubles, grab your glowsticks and work out to 90’s club classics – ME TIME

My passion is to help people feel good about themselves by promoting a Healthy Active Lifestyle in a Fun Feel Good Way.

2 Years down the track and I had a vision of running classes from my own premises.  I also wanted to have somewhere that was accessible for the whole community with a goal to create a welcoming, inclusive fitness and community hub for everyone.

My husband Dave and I spent many hours looking at different premises before deciding on Number 10. We were officially opened by the Deputy Mayor on October 6th 2018.

FitNFab is a friendly welcoming hub for the local community.  We are a non-membership venue making it accessible and affordable to all.

At the hub I teach SEN Clubbercise to young adults with learning difficulties. I love seeing the friendships made, the confidence and the eye contact that is made lights up the room. We never have a blue Monday!

We also host monthly SEN Support Group – PROUD – Parents Relatives Of Unique Differences.
