I decided I would take part in this event because it is part of a Super Series of events that I have loved taking part in over the recent years since my life changed due to Fibromyalgia. It allows me to find my power in trying to not only take on physical challenges for myself but in a way that I can channel that power to support, encourage and motivate more Superheroes and Sidekicks along the way. I also love channelling the Superhero Spirit with my Son, which has developed through this and will continue to do so.

During the course of this challenge, I plan on helping to motivate and support my Super Team (Team Billy aka Team Iron Man) and our Team here in Essex while also contributing as many km’s as I can along the way. I will be doing this with solo walking/ cycling, superhero walking adventures in the great outdoors with my family and any km’s I manage to complete while on shift working as a Healthcare Assistant in my local Hospital.
