Some of the Essex Pedal Power champions attended an event at the new healthcare facility in Clacton on Sea to meet with the NHS regional director, Ann Radmore. The Essex Pedal Power champions did us proud as they spoke to Ann about their personal journeys since receiving their bikes, they spoke of new friendships, learning new skills such as bike maintenance, improvement in mental health as well as improvement in physical health. Ann was impressed with Essex Pedal Power, she had not heard of the scheme before and enjoyed hearing people’s first hand experiences with EPP and the impact it has made on many lives so far.
