Last Saturday, Basildon Councillors; Councillor Sargent, Council Adeshile, Councillor Ademuyiwa and Councillor Terson joined Scott, Grant and Paul on a tour of some of Basildon’s LDP programmes. The tour showcased the variety of activities now happening weekly in Basildon with the support of the LDP. The group visited Northlands Park Play led by ATF, Sport for Confidence and Simply Cycling at Basildon’s Village, Motivated Minds at the Happy Hub and were also joined by Street Tag. During the visit, the group were able to see the great work that has been achieved over the last year and discuss the impact the activities are having on the lives of Basildon residents with activity leaders and volunteers as well as their aspirations for the future.
