Our Move Maker for April has been awarded to Ellexie-Grace, who attends one of our Essex ActivAte clubs during the school holidays. When attending the club during the Easter holidays, Ellexie-Grace was keen to get up on stage at the front and support the paid leaders and Michelle, who runs the Holiday Club, says that she has been attending the club since day 1. Ellexie-Grace is now in year 7 and helps with everything at the club and is really supportive of the leaders and those younger than her who attend.
Ellexie-Grace also often helps lead the dance and games at the club, as well as suggest new ideas for games, supporting the younger, more reluctant children to get involved and be active. In her spare time, Ellexie-Grace enjoys dance club and plays in the school netball and basketball teams, as well as being a keen footballer, playing for her local team who she’s been with for 3 years.
