Ambassadors

In summary the role includes:

• Sharing the story of your journey into physical activity or sport to inspire others
• Help promote women and girls sport and physical activity sessions via social media
• Signpost women to the This Girl Can Essex Facebook page, Active Essex website and national This Girl Can website for further inspiration/ information on local opportunities
• Support the This Girl Can Essex Festivals (either through promotion, attending or helping to deliver)
• Most importantly, be an inspiration to other women in Essex to be more active
• Please note there is no rigid time commitment to being an Ambassador. You don’t have to complete the roles in full – only the parts you are comfortable with

Inspirer Ambassador

You all probably do this without knowing or trying… but we’d love you to shout some more! Share your journey into physical activity or sport to inspire and motivate others. Our inspirers will have opportunity to share their story on our website pages too

Share your pictures, stories and quotes on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat when you taking part in activity, when you have completed a personal goal or challenge, or done something that can be an inspiration to women in Essex.

Promoter Ambassador

Use #ThisGirlCanEssex to tweet and retweet opportunities you see promoted to get women involved, try something new or get more active

On Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat similarly promote opportunities in Essex you know about and promote through our social media sites.

Encourage friends to get involved and ‘Like’ the This Girl Can Essex Facebook page whether online or face to face and encourage them to like the page or visit our This Girl Can page on our Active Essex website for specific information on women only activity groups in Essex, funding for women’s projects, guide for clubs on how to attract more females and lots more!

Supporter Ambassador

In addition to the Inspirers and Promoters roles, you may want to get involved in supporting the delivery of a local This Girl Can Festival.

Deliverer Ambassador
